We are currently in post and pre-production for two short films. Neil, directed by Natalia Andreadis is just about ready for submission into the 50 kisses UK screenwriting competition, while Episode 1 of the Typist, by Jude Schweppe, is in pre-production at the moment. Exciting times for Just Films.
Our next theatre production will be going up in spring of 2013. We will let you know as soon as tickets are available. Stay tuned!
Every show is brought to life by a talented ensemble of actors. Meet the actors performing in our current production.
Behind the scenes of every show lies the all-important crew. Meet the team working on the current production.
So, what is JuSt Theatre all about?
Well, we’re about three things. Firstly we’re about exploring new angles and new ideas in every facet of production. Those ideas could be about lighting, sound design or visuals, or some other technical aspects that bring a fresh approach to conventional performance. They could be about staging, or costume, choreography or blocking. Or they could simply be about taking a well-known or previously performed script and seeing how we can bring it to life in a new and exciting way.
Secondly we’re about making sure that every show we produce is thought provoking and challenging. We are a company seeking to stimulate debate. We want you to ask questions. We want you to leave the theatre feeling like you’ve had an experience that was worthy of the money you paid for it. And we want to produce work that affects you on a visceral, cerebral and emotional level.
And finally we’re all about supporting our fellow Irish artists in London. Our aim is to provide a platform for the many talented young (and not so young) actors, writers and directors living in the UK today and to showcase some of our favourite Irish writing alongside brand new work.
This isn’t just theatre, it’s JuSt Theatre.
