Founder & Artistic Director  – Jude Schweppe

Jude studied History at Trinity College Dublin and graduated with a degree that could have been a lot worse considering she spent more time on stage than in the library. She then shipped herself to London where she did a post-graduate diploma in acting at Drama Studio London. After graduating she returned to Dublin where  lots of fringe, a number of small parts in small films and one six-month stint travelling around Ireland playing the part of a honey bee ensued. (The obligatory TIE tour, don’t you know!) Never one to stay too long in one place she soon hopped on a plane back to London, where she set up a voiceover agency, met Steph and, realising they were two peas in creative pods, they founded JuSt Theatre. The rest is a history she’s looking forward to writing!

Jude cannot contemplate the notion of starting rehearsals without a can of Diet Coke and something to nibble.

Founder & Artistic Director  -  Stephanie F. O’Brien

Stephanie grew up in South Dublin, Ireland, the daughter of an Irish father and new Zealand mother and attended the French Lycee in Dublin. She trained in dance till 18 and then, while studying for her honours degree in Languages and Politics at Trinity College Dublin,  trained and performed with the Gaiety School and The Black Box Theatre Trinity College as a member of the University Players Theatre company. At this time she began more advanced training in street dance with L.A based choreographers such as Fusion Ludlow and Tony Stone, before becoming a freelance Choreographer on shows in Dublin and preparing for her first professional engagement as Claire in David Mamet’s acclaimed Victorian era black comedy, Boston Marriage at the newly launched Mill Theatre Dublin. The show won great praise from critics and audiences alike and in 2007 Stephanie made the move to London, destined four years later to meet Jude over a cup of tea, decide to make some art together and build a company. Phew.

Today she splits her time between performance engagements in Dublin, London and Paris while pursuing work in acting and as a novelist.

She looks forward to many years of successful collaborations with JuSt Theatre Company & her creative partner in crime, Ms Schweppe. Make art.
